The baseball art community has been bolstered by the work of filmmaker Peter Barossi — who recently produced a short video in which Chris S. Cornell describes the mission of BaseballArt.com. The four-minute video also features the work of some of the world’s best-known baseball artists, along with some up-and-comers.
Barossi produced the video as part of his popular Westchester Project, a series of segments about topics of interest to his Westchester audience. In the piece, which was shot in Cornell Gallery, Cornell explains how the splintered community of baseball art and fans can grow if it is allowed to function as a community. The video features images by Ron Stark, Dick Perez, Graig Kreindler, Arthur K. Miller, Neal Portnoy, Andy Jurinko, Eric Velasquez, Jennifer Ettinger and Margie Lawrence.
In addition to his Westchester Project, Peter Barossi is the Executive Producer at Dravot Carnehan Studios. Dravot is a production company that creates “entertaining, cutting edge content for both traditional broadcast as well as the web.”
